Stefanie Van Waes holds a master's degree in Law (UGent), followed by a master in tax law from VUB.
She started working as a legal counsel in the credit department of a Belgian international bank, and was temporarily assigned to the Paris branch. Since 15 years, she has been a wealth planner within several private banks.
In 2015, she started working for Société Générale Private Banking (later acquired by ABN AMRO Private Banking). She focuses on civil law planning and philanthropic planning through charitable giving.
