More clarity on sustainability

How sustainable is your investment portfolio? The concept of 'sustainability' isn't always an easy one to put into practice. This can make it difficult to gain an insight into how your portfolio currently scores in terms of sustainability, or what else you can do if you want to make your portfolio more sustainable.
As a client of ABN AMRO Private Banking, you can view the sustainability of your investments in four categories thanks to the new Sustainability Dashboard in Online Banking (now available in both web portal as app).
This includes:
- The Paris Agreement
The Paris Agreement is an international treaty concluded by 195 United Nations Member States in 2015 to combat global warming. In your report, you can see how your investments are contributing to achieving the targets set out in the Paris Agreement. - The CO₂ emissions of the companies in your investment portfolio
This relates to the direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions of the companies in which you invest. You can see how your portfolio's score compares to the market benchmark. - The ESG (environmental, social and governance) risk score of your investment portfolio
The abbreviation ESG stands for environmental, social and governance criteria. The companies in which you invest are analysed in these three areas. - The impact of your investments on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The abbreviation SDG stands for Sustainable Development Goals. These were drawn up in 2015 by countries belonging to the United Nations, including Belgium. The companies in which clients invest may contribute to these targets. We rate a positive or negative impact to make this contribution transparent, and compare them to a benchmark.
We would love to discuss sustainability with you more often and in more depth
These sustainability insights help us to proactively encourage discussion with each other. If, having read the summary, you as a client would like to contact us about (further) increasing the sustainability of your portfolio, we would be happy to discuss this with you.
