Joachim Aelvoet holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp and is a CFA charterholder. He began his career as a management trainee at Fortis Bank, where he gained extensive experience in the trading room over a period of five years. He then moved to the FSMA regulator, focusing on asset management for pension funds. Over ten years ago, he joined ABN AMRO MeesPierson. Within this organization, he has been an integral part of the Belgian Management Team for several years, initially serving as Country Director Products & Solutions. In 2023, he was appointed Country Executive, a role in which he distinguishes himself through his clear vision and results-oriented approach.
